The story of Infinity Song begins in Detroit, where the quartet - comprised of Abraham, Angel, Momo, and Israel Boyd - were raised by their parents. As founders of the city’s Boys & Girls Choir, the Boyds showed their children the satisfaction of life filled with music, community, and fellowship. Now all grown up and New York City residents, the siblings are making a name for themselves in, as they like to say, the “soft rock” space. Intricate vocalplay and heart-on-the-sleeve lyrics are obviously the band’s forté. “Slow Burn,” the plaintive opener of their 2023 ‘Metamorphosis’ album, sets a striking tone. In fact, a spin through any track from the project confirms that familial harmonies do indeed hit a little different. And how about that incisive “Dreams” cover? Stevie Nicks would certainly approve of its ardent edge. If you want a taste of their range, hark back to the debut album, ‘Mad Love.’ It showcases the Boyds’ yen for the funky and light sides of R&B and alt-hop, a converse to the serious tone of ‘Metamorphosis.’ You could see why Roc Nation came calling, on the one hand. And why they just enjoyed a residency at NYC’s famed Blue Note jazz club, on the other. Our studio is tailor made for capturing acts of Infinity Song’s ilk, and the exclusive performance of the album’s title track - along with that simmering “Slow Burn” - was an always necessary reminder of music’s connective power.

Halsey - Ego | Vevo Official Live Performance

If you found yourself on Halsey’s Instagram in October 2024, you’d have a hard time finding Halsey anywhere. Instead, you’d come face to face with Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and… oh, wait that IS Halsey! Fans have long marveled at the pop virtuoso’s world building skills (who could forget the ornate, gothic scenery of 2021’s ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power?’), but it feels like Halsey has taken the biggest creative swing of her career with ‘The Great Impersonator.’ She labels it a “confessional concept album.” As the October 25 release day approached, fans watched her inhabit a kaleidoscope of musical heroes. That was only the beginning. We decided to take the nostalgic trip one step further with these Official Live Performances, seeking to answer the questions: “What if Halsey arrived in a different time? What if she recorded in the 1970s, 80s, 90s or early 2000’s?” So we built four interconnected stages reflective of each decade - with vintage outfits and instruments to match. We captured the action on 35mm film for that timeless feel. Leaning into personal authenticity, Halsey did her own makeup. Team Vevo and Team Halsey’s long history of collaboration allowed this to be one of the series’ most ambitious shoots. The fun kicks off on album release day, and spills into the next week. It’s time to bring back the girl groups, ya’ll. Especially the UK ones. Certainly the spirit of Spice Girls and Sugababes was alive in Renée Downer, Jorja Douglas, and Stella Quaresma when they formed FLO. Considering the impact of the trio’s “Cardboard Box," it seems fans were ready for the girl group sound, too. One of the FLO's strengths is their chemistry, which comes from familiarity. Renée and Stella are childhood friends, and Jorja says she keyed into their vibe immediately. “I knew from the moment [we met] we were about to start something big.” The R&B trio took two years honing their craft before dropping any tracks. That timespan included finding the right producers, such as MNEK, who has credits with Dua Lipa and Beyoncé, and produced “Cardboard Box.” Thanks to deep catchiness and fantastic choreography, snippets of their debut video seem to go viral every other week on Twitter and TikTok - no wonder it has more than three million views on YouTube. Tyla - To Last (Live). An exclusive performance for Vevo DSCVR, the channel for the best in new music.

There’s a new genre coming out of South Africa, and Tyla is one of its most promising young talents. “Amapiano, it’s the sound right now,” she explained to us after gliding through her DSCVR performances, where she put the emerging blend of house, R&B, and African dance genres such as Kwaito in the spotlight. In Zulu dialects, Amapiano means “the pianos,” a reference to the lounge keys usually weaved into its dembow and four-to-the-floor rhythms. Tyla herself is a master of taking its glossiest elements and imbuing them with the sensuality of American R&B. “Getting Late,” her breakout debut, was all about making the most of a night’s final hours. Considering she designs her songs in the shower, it makes sense that a certain steaminess and nonchalance runs through recent bops “Been Thinking” and “Girl Next Door.” But like a rose garden, there’s thorns nestled between those Tyla’s delicate sonic petals and romantic aromas. “My first love was not my first heartbreak,” the Aaliyah and Rihanna disciple whispers in “To Last,” which she performed for us on DSCVR. Ouch. Clearly, she’s learned how to pack punches from her pop-R&B heroes. “Water” is a particularly fetching track. “It’s kind of a naughty song,” she confessed, before adding, “It’s a summer song.” What else is there to say: dive in, but don’t expect to cool off.

Halsey - Hometown | Vevo Official Live Performance

If you found yourself on Halsey’s Instagram in October 2024, you’d have a hard time finding Halsey anywhere. Instead, you’d come face to face with Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and… oh, wait that IS Halsey! Fans have long marveled at the pop virtuoso’s world building skills (who could forget the ornate, gothic scenery of 2021’s ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power?’), but it feels like Halsey has taken the biggest creative swing of her career with ‘The Great Impersonator.’ She labels it a “confessional concept album.” As the October 25 release day approached, fans watched her inhabit a kaleidoscope of musical heroes. That was only the beginning. We decided to take the nostalgic trip one step further with these Official Live Performances, seeking to answer the questions: “What if Halsey arrived in a different time? What if she recorded in the 1970s, 80s, 90s or early 2000’s?” So we built four interconnected stages reflective of each decade - with vintage outfits and instruments to match. We captured the action on 35mm film for that timeless feel. Leaning into personal authenticity, Halsey did her own makeup. Team Vevo and Team Halsey’s long history of collaboration allowed this to be one of the series’ most ambitious shoots. The fun kicks off on album release day, and spills into the next week. Our Extended Play series is tailor made for a band like Imagine Dragons. On the one hand, the pop-rockers' scale and ambition can barely be contained by the stadiums they regularly sell out. For the group behind ubiquitous hits like “Thunder,” “Radioactive,” and “Believer,” success is measured in millions and billions. Such impact can feel impenetrable, but our performance-interview series is all about pulling back the curtain. And on the other hand there’s singer Dan Reynolds. An open book, he’s the band’s primary songwriter, and a fascinating one at that. We saw that up close at Conway Studios, where Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, and bassist Ben McKee created their latest album, ‘LOOM,’ under the guidance of producers Mattman & Robin. The microphones were hot during rehearsals, adding a loose and informal vibe to this short film. All three dudes were revealing. Dan touches on relationships and the Dragons core ethos. McKee calls 'LOOM' the "most focused and intentional" album of their career. Sermon energizes jam sessions. It's a uniquely holistic view of one of the world's biggest bands, powered by the earnest musical energy that only Imagine Dragons can conjure.

Dancehall culture is as much about personality as it is about musical talent, and Shenseea has both in spades. The Jamaica native can certainly hit the notes, but she’s just as impressive leading crowds with toasts, boasts and more than a little brashness. Maxed-out confidence is right there in the name of last year’s debut: ‘ALPHA,’ an album throughout which the “Diana” singer puts her own desires first. “I’m the one you want/I’m the one you need,” she proclaims on the Tyga-assisted album opener “Target.” Two tracks later she’s going full sexual self-empowerment on “Deserve It,” a pop-leaning bop with a breathy hook a la TLC and Destiny’s Child. That features include both Caribbean staples such as Beanie Man and Sean Paul alongside hip-hop luminaries 21 Savage and Megan Thee Stallion tells you she’s aiming for full crossover cred. “Waistline” and “Hit & Run” certainly do the job, and the only thing these two exclusive performances are missing is a sweaty crowd dancing alongside her. La ciudad costera de La Serena en Chile no necesariamente es conocida por su escena de música urbana, pero FloyyMenor llegó a cambiar esto rápidamente.
